A snowmobile is one of the most memorable ways to experience winter in Lapland.
After meeting your guide and getting ready for the ride, you leave Ivalo River Village behind and head into the snowy landscape surrounding Ivalo. The route takes you through Arctic nature, away from everyday traffic and into a world of snow, forest and open winter scenery.
There is time along the way to slow down, enjoy the surroundings and stop for photographs. The experience is not only about driving — it is about being outside in the Arctic landscape and seeing Lapland from a completely different perspective.
No previous snowmobile experience is needed. Before departure, your guide will explain how the snowmobile works and go through the safety instructions for the ride.
